Deacon Election Nominations

JUNE 10 – JULY 10

We invite you to prayerfully participate in selecting our new deacons. Each year, 16 men are chosen to serve a 3-year term, helping lead and minister to our congregation. Deacons serve as servant-leaders, providing Godly guidance and support to our church family. Please read 1 Timothy 3 and Acts 6 as you consider nominations. Only active members of First Baptist are eligible to submit nominations, which must be done by contacting the nominee first to confirm their willingness. Nominations can be submitted via the Deacon Election Form at the church office, welcome center, blue box outside the office, or online at www.fbcopelika.com/deaconelection.

Deadline for nominations: July 10, 2026.
