Women
Grow. Gather. Go.
We desire to see women connect with the Lord Jesus Christ and the FBCO church family in 3 ways. To see them GROW in their relationship with the Lord through studying scripture and growing in discipleship, to GATHER for times of fellowship, community, and equipping, and finally to GO into the world equipped and confident in pointing others towards Christ and his love.

Revelation: Eternal King, Everlasting Kingdom, by Jen Wilkin | W
Led by Martha Tabor and Mary Winkler
Tuesday, September 10 – Tuesday, November 12 | Room 137 | 9:30-11:15am
Two thousand years ago, John’s Revelation was circulated and read aloud among seven churches in Asia Minor. Those who heard the letter understood it and drew encouragement from its message. The same can be true for you today. Over 10 sessions of verse-by-verse Bible study, Jen Wilkin helps you discover how the last book of the Bible—the culmination of God's great story—speaks both a steadying word of assurance and a strong call to endure to the church in every age. Books available at Amazon, Lifeway, Christianbook.com, etc.
He Speaks to Me: Preparing to Hear from God,
by Priscilla Shirer | W
Led by Beth Redden and Sandy Speakman
September 4 – October 16 | Room 137 | 9:45 am
“When we approach God humbly and bow down before Him, we put ourselves in a position to hear from Him.” Are you longing to hear God’s voice, but feeling disconnected? God wants to speak directly to each of His beloved children, not to just a few “spiritual elite.” In this study, Priscilla Shirer uses relevant scriptures from throughout scripture to bring home the Father's profound desire for relationship with his children. During this 7 week study, Priscilla relates six characteristics that are applicable to women today as they tune their hearts to hear God’s voice. These characteristics are: A Simple Relationship, A Set Apart Holiness, A Still Attentiveness, A Single-Minded Worship, A Sold Out Hunger, and A Servant’s Spirit. By listening to God’s voice and obeying Him, women will be drawn into a closer relationship to God that brings a deeper desire to serve Him faithfully.

The Armor of God, by Priscilla Shirer | W
Led by Stacy Chase
The Retreat | September 4 – October 23 | 6:30-7:30pm
All day, every day, an invisible war rages around you — unseen, unheard, yet felt throughout every aspect of your life. A devoted, devilish enemy seeks to wreak havoc on everything that matters to you: your heart, your mind, your marriage, your children, your relationships, your resilience, your dreams, your destiny. But his battle plan depends on catching you unaware and unarmed. If you're tired of being pushed around and caught with your guard down, this study is for you. The enemy always fails miserably when he meets a woman dressed for the occasion. The Armor of God, more than merely a biblical description of the believer's inventory, is an action plan for putting it on and developing a personalized strategy to secure victory.
