Biscuits and Bible Study, Ephesians | M
Led by Dr. Jeff Meyers
Ongoing | Man Cave | Tuesdays, 6:30-7:15am
Pastor Jeff will continue his verse-by-verse study of Paul’s book to the Ephesians. Perhaps more than any other book of the Bible, the book of Ephesians emphasizes the connection between sound doctrine and practical living. Far too many people ignore “theology” and only want to discuss those things which are “practical”. Paul argues theology is practical. In fact, in order to live out God’s will for us in our lives practically, we must first understand who we are in Christ doctrinally. Doors will open at 6:15am for biscuits and coffee. The Bible study will begin at 6:30am and will conclude by 7:15am.
Bible only.
Daniel | M
Led by Chico Grider

James | M
Led by Ben Cohen
Beginning Wednesday, August 14 | Room 137 | 6:30-7:30pm
The book of James encourages God’s people to act like God’s people. True salvation manifests itself in practical ways. When believers listen to and obey God’s word, they demonstrate their love for Him and others. In this study we will explore the book of James verse-by-verse and focus on living out our faith with action. Bible only.
Following Christ: Losing Your Life for His Sake, by Charles Spurgeon | M
Led by Ron Hillyer and Caleb Leikvold
Beginning August 14 | Man Cave | 6:30-7:30pm
You cannot have Christ if you will not serve Him. If you take Christ, you must take Him in all His qualities. You must not simply take Him as a Friend, but you must also take Him as your Master. If you are to become His disciple, you must also become His servant. God-forbid that anyone fights against that truth. It is certainly one of our greatest delights on earth to serve our Lord, and this is to be our joyful vocation even in heaven itself: His servants shall serve Him: and they shall see His face (Revelation 22:3-4).
Book provided.
