Common Questions
What if I have a child taking lessons on multiple instruments OR multiple children taking lessons?
Families with multiple children or a child who takes multiple lessons can receive a special discount. Please email Kim Jackson, the director of the Academy, for more discount information and the payment link with the discount included.
What happens if my child needs to miss a lesson?
Life happens, and we understand. Just let your instructor know at least 24 hours in advance so your lesson can qualify for a make-up. Excused absences include student illness or a death in the family. If absences become frequent, your instructor may ask for a doctor’s note. Each teacher arranges make-up lessons directly with their students.
Do you provide supervision before or after lessons?
We’re not able to offer supervision outside of a student’s scheduled lesson time, so we ask parents to stay on-site. Our lobby is a comfortable place to relax during your child’s lesson.
Do you take Fall or Spring breaks?
Since our students come from many different school systems, the Fine Arts Academy does not close for Fall or Spring breaks. If an instructor needs to miss a lesson, they will make sure it is rescheduled.
What if my child needs to withdraw from lessons?
If you’re considering stepping away before the semester ends, please talk with our Fine Arts Academy Director. In most situations, we can issue a refund for the remaining weeks. We’re here to help make the transition smooth.
