Many times throughout scripture we are commanded to love and care for others and their needs. We especially want to care for the elderly in our church who love God and have served Him for many years. We ask for visits to be made quarterly and a report to made after each visit so pastoral staff may follow up.
To assist in creating mini bouquets from larger arrangements of memorial, funeral or wedding flowers and deliver them to local nursing homes to bless residents and staff.
At times we have church members (often elderly) who call the church office requesting assistance with rides to church or appointments. People on this list assist with this temporary need.
An opportunity for those caring for their aging parent(s), spouse or special needs family member to find community, encouragement and mutual support.
Widow’s Ministry holds two lunches a year and has care groups that regularly reaches out to each widow checking in them throughout the year.
Our newly launched Widowers Ministry meets monthly with the intention of building a Christian brotherhood who can support and encourage each other through regular fellowship.
Our GriefShare support group is a safe place to understand the difficult emotions of grief. GriefShare is a 14-week group experience on Wednesday evenings to receive valuable guidance for comfort and peace of mind.
