Faith factory

We desire to partner with parents to develop disciples who know God, grow in God, and go with God

We believe God's plan for the family and the church is to demonstrate what it means to "love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love others around them"

(Matthew 22:37-39)

I'm new

The 1st-6th graders’ activities are all held on the 3rd floor of the Preschool/Children’s Buildings. These are the church’s buildings closest to the Lee County Courthouse lawn. They are accessible from Avenue B through double doors located in the courtyard between the two buildings closest to the 9th Street parking area. If you enter here, you will be on the 2nd floor - where you can check in there or go directly to the Faith Factory lobby on the 3rd floor. You may take the stairs to the right in the lobby or ride the elevator to the 3rd floor. There in the Lobby, you will make your first stop at the desk where someone will be able to help you find your child’s class.  Also here, you will be issued a temporary Security tag for the day (see Security tab for more information about our security procedures and how to secure a permanent tag). One tag is placed on your child and you will be given a pick up card will be turned in when you pick up your child and you will receive a key fob you can use the next time you check your child in . You will be asked to leave a cell number in case you are needed.

If you plan on being on campus for more than one hour, your child will be transitioned to the next leader and environment.

All children will be picked up in their small group room. Please have your parent badges ready and visible when you come to pick up your child.

We look forward to partnering alongside you.

Sunday gatherings

8:00 hour

Grades 1-6 meet together for Sunday school at this hour. We also offer Shine, an option for grades 4-6 to learn what worship is and equip them to lead their peers in worship once a month.

9:30 hour

Grades 1-3 start off in Sunday school and then transition to a large group environment (The Warehouse) where we have a party for Jesus where we engage the senses and the Gospel through worship, skits, games and Bible teaching. We use this hour to introduce them to The Gospel Project lesson of the day. All kids are picked up in their rooms at the end of this hour unless they are staying for a second hour.

Vision

We believe that God created two areas for kids to spiritually grow and they are the church and the home.  That is why we partner with you in everything we do.  One piece of that is taking care of your kids and providing them with a safe environment for them to grow.

Security

Your child’s safety is of utmost importance to us!  We want you to feel secure in leaving your child with us as you worship and attend a small group Bible study.  These are the ways we try to fulfill this goal:

1st-6th graders are required to wear a security badge.

We use an automated check-in system that generates badges for both children and parents. These tags have randomly produced numbers that change each time the child is checked in. The parent badges do not display names but corresponding numbers. In case of a lost badge, the parent must show a photo id. Parents are required to show their matching badge to pick up the child.

Leadership Requirements.

Volunteers who regularly lead in any of our classes must complete an application form and background checks.  Our goal is to always have two adults (preferably unrelated) serving in the classroom with the children.

leadership

Leading our boys and girls is a privilege and a huge responsibility, but it is also one of the most gratifying things you will ever do.

All of our volunteers are asked to complete an application and background check.

kids with Special needs

We believe that every child is made in the image of God and should have the opportunity to learn about Jesus. We desire to do what is best for the child in order for this to happen. Please visit our check in desk to learn about our Buddy system and how we include kids with special needs
